Short Description
Accounting is systematic recording, reporting, and analysis of financial transactions of an organisation and the Accounting module houses the modules relevant for performing the process of closing accounting periods, i.e. period-end-closing. Dataloy VMS supports the process of closing accounting periods with the ability to calculate the periodic pro-rata voyage days (proration), estimate a period's costs and revenues based on proration and voyage estimates (estimation) and calculate and post accruals (accruals). The system also allows users to further the accounting period closing process by providing the option of generating, verifying and posting Internal Allocations, Bunker Stock Adjustments and Running and Overhead Costs.The Period-End-Closing process can be found under Processes > Period-End-Closing.
